Making a dream come true, COERCION scored the top slot among New Releases in Espionage Thrillers during its debut month. These little orange badges Amazon awards are like combat ribbons, trivial symbols of tremendous efforts. Thanks to all of you and my team at Thomas & Mercer for your great feedback and kind support!
It's a good time to check out Free Kindle Books & Tips, as Michael is currently giving away a Kindle Paperwhite to new subscribers. You can't beat free books and a free Kindle. Sign up here.
The New Edition of Coercion is out, and it looks great, especially in paperback! A perfect cover for 4th of July week. This Thomas & Mercer edition is 30% leaner than the original, and that's with new chapters included. It's what we in the Special Forces would call "High Speed, Low Drag."
COERCION 2015 also garnered a nice quote from James A. Baker III, who was US Secretary of State during perestroika, when COERCION takes place:
“Tim Tigner is a masterful storyteller with a nose for intrigue and a careful eye for historical detail. Set in the aftermath of the collapse of the Iron Curtain, his latest book, “Coercion,” is a compelling tale of espionage and betrayal, one that will leave its readers wanting more.”
Thank you Secretary Baker! (Pictured with Soviet Foreign Minister Eduard Shevardnadze, Soviet President Gorbachev, and US President Bush 41.)
Thomas & Mercer is currently running a 20-copy giveaway of Coercion on Goodreads.com that is open to residents of the US. This promotion just started and will continue until 7/7/2015. Sign up on the link below for your shot at a free first edition.

Just scored a gig as a "Mitch Rapp Ambassador" with Vince Flynn.com, which means a galley version of The Survivor will be coming my way next week for feedback prior to its October publication. A few months back, I was very excited to learn that Kyle Mills, one of my other favorite authors, would be picking up the series after Vince's untimely passing, and am now totally psyched to be an early witness the revival of one of the best action heroes in modern literary history.
